Paradise Inn Structural Remodel and New Visitors Center
Mt. Rainier National Park, WA

John Korsmo Construction and its joint-venture partner Watts Constructors have been rebuilding the Paradise Inn and building a new Paradise Visitors Center since June 2006. Final completion is scheduled for August 2008. The crews have faced the normal winter conditions at 5,000 feet with tons of snowfall. They've also enjoyed beautiful summer weather for their work and faced a 100-year flood in November 2006 that closed the park for nearly six months and kept them off the construction site for nearly two months. Despite that setback, work is on schedule for the $40 million National Park Service project.

Below is a slide show of some of our work during the past 18 months.
